Okay,I know I haven't been posting much lately. But sometimes
you get busy with work ,and life, and other things. But fear not, I'm
not really gone, I'm still here. Just have things to do! At least I have this
one ready to go, and don't worry,I'll be back. I have more rockabilly
to share. This volume is one of the best in the series of Buffalo Bops,
and is yet another 30 fantastic tracks of original rock from the 50's.
Some of it even early 60's. The one track that stands out, is Sonny
Flaharty doing a track called My Baby's Casual. There's no evidence
yet that says yes or no, but that could very well be the same Sonny
Flaharty that recorded the awesome 60's garage tune " Hey Conductor".
I'm still not sure, internet does not tell me for sure if he was an early
rocker from the 50's,but his voice surely says yes to me. Sounds like
the same dude. But that's not the only highlight here. There's 29 more
awesome rockabilly rock tracks to sink your teeth into. And I've also
included the scans, and all the goodies I can for you. Link is in the
comments, as usual, stay tuned. I've got more soon.
Yeah you can tell by the cover what's going on here. I don't know
how many songs you can sing about North American Indians,
but this compilation has probably the most ridiculous amount of goofy
tunes I ever heard. This one is by request,by the way. So thanks for
that, I always read the comments sections, and keep that in mind when
I look for more things to post here. But so far I'm sticking to the
rockabilly music compilations, until I run out. Why? I was hoping to
convert more people to this brand of 50's rock and roll. It's fun!
The tracks that will absolutely drive you to crash your pick up
truck and drink beer, here are these fabulous songs: (just kidding)
Cowboys and Indians, War Paint, Massacre, Bobby Sox Squaw,
Wig Wam Willie, Indian Joe, Warrior Sam, Little Brave,
Geronimo, Cherokee Rock, Tomahawk, Medicine Man,
and Little Bull & Buttercup. What a scream!

It's a busy busy Mojo Repair Shop, why, there's a lot of people who want some holiday music, and the gift of music all around here.It keeps me from my blogging and getting a chance to listen to morecool rockabilly sounds. Well this volume of Buffalo Bop is just as strong as most of the others, featuring another can't-go-wrong 30 tracks, from the early 1950's-to the early early 1960's. But never, ever venturinginto surf land. This is all strictly 50's rockabilly rock, and it's all from the smallest independent labels from all over the great U.S. of A. The strong tracks here are: Roly Poly, I Can't Stay Mad At You, Boogie Beat, You Shake Me, Teenage Boogie, I Was Too Blind,Saturday Jump, The Slide and The Surfin' Freeze. While The Surfin' Freeze is not a "surf" song, it's more of a strange California themed rock song stuck on the twist craze kinda beat.Perhaps the waves are on the rise, and Dick Dale will soon show up,knock our socks off,,and start a new sound. We hope so. But for now, it's rockabilly.Link in the comments rock and roll hounds and kitties.
Meeow! The Alley Cat volume of Buffalo Bop contains 30 more tracks of keen 1950's rockabilly. And it's all good! They're rocking my stereo, and I'm digging these particular tracks:Jelly Roll Rock, Run Run Mabel, It's A Fad,Ma!, The Shake,Don't Be Unfair, I Love Her,Right Or Wrong, Go Cat's Go, Muscle Beach, and Nervous And Shakin' All Over. Another fine compilation of vintage sounds that are truly addictive. There's more Buffalo Bops and Dee Jay Jamborees I'm not sure you hep cats want me to post. I've got several volumes of Explosive Doo Wop, Philadelphia Doo Wop, Brooklyn Doo Wop,and White And Still All Right! Doo Wop From The Late 50's-Early 60's. You guys want that or just the rockabilly? To me, they're a contrast in music and different sounding...But hey, whatever floats your boat. I'm more the rocking type of chick/wacko myself. Your comments will either make themappear on this blog or not. So go to it. Either way, I'm rocking the whole Buffalo Bop series of rockabilly right now, folks. Information in the comments section.
You say you don't have enough rockabilly music in your life? Well, here's more. No doubt about it, the 1950's era is fun, and has a charm all it's own. Probably what's lacking in today's music, the charm, the old fashioned just singing about what you know. This volume contains another 30 tracks, and is strictly rockabilly type rock and roll. The title track song Tradin' Kisses by Matt Lucus is one of the stand out tracks on this various artistscompilation, along with: Pal Mal Rock, Butter Ball, Tip Toe,Chicksville USA, Rock And Roll Rover, Arkansas Jane, and Nervous Wreck. I like the track Nervous Wreck a lot, since it's a man talkingabout his girl! Nutty and great! Check it all out here below! http://rapidshare.com/files/167135273/Buffalo_Bop_-_55157_-_Trading_Kisses.rar.html
The Teen Town volume of Buffalo Bops boasts mostly songs about difficulties between boys and girls. Which is mostly what a lot of songs are about anyways...aren't they? Just think about it? Most songs were written because someone was angry, in love, crazy, or any other strong emotion. Teen Town's highlighted tracks are: All About Cha,Babe, I'm Hypnotised, Tell Me Quick,Tell Me True, Spin The Bottle, You Broke My Heart, and one particularly unusual one calledCoconut Girl. And it's all vintage rockabilly 50's styled, the originalartists, and culled from the original singles, almost like a smalltime capsule of love directly to you, from Mojo Repair Shop. I hope you're not sick of these compilations, give them a listen.I think they will grow on ya! More to come little sea monkeys. http://rapidshare.com/files/164876159/Buffalo_Bop_-_55071_-_Teen_Town.rar.html
Back to the Buffalo Boppin' series that we all love so much. Another voluptuous volume of vintage voola 1950's original rockabilly unknowns, and really very catchy rock songs. Another 30 more tracks, featuring the coolest songs,I'm grooving to: You Hook Me Baby, Koffee Shop Rock, High School USA, Sweet Cucumber(?!), String Bean, Weepin' & Wailin' and Shimmy Shake. All songs mastered from the original 45's,for optimum wattage in the cottage. The real 50's blast daddy-o!
These are hard to find ,so I urge you to move quickly, why? Lotsa blogs have been violated by creepy creeps, who really don't know what to do with themselves. I could think of a few things they could do with their precious time, and ask them to at least consider, you're not going to ever enjoy this music either, so why be so darn depressing, and weird. Bloggers will just move to another site. While you're spinning your wheels. This is long out of print, and these songs are 50 plus years old. They are worth preserving for people who like vintage rock 'n roll.http://rapidshare.com/files/156830917/Buffalo_Bop_-_55172_-_Fright__Nin.rar.html
Young And Wild! features 30 more tracks of Rockabilly fun! I think this one's another winner, because "Wildcat" by The Nitecapsis on it, plus other fabulous song track titles like: A-Bomp Bop, Don't Need No Job, Not For Love Or Money, Sharpest Little Girl, I'm Not Crazy, and Rock All Night With Me. Even the songs like I Just Can't Go On remain fun, upbeat, and don't sound at all likehe's suffering one bit. It's the fun, fun, fun rockabilly sound wherekids were innocent, and life seemed simpler then, didn't it? Again, copy and past into your browser for the magic to happen. I guaranty a good time for all. http://rapidshare.com/files/153152393/Buffalo_Bop_-_55017_-_Young_And_Wild.rar
Whoo hoo this one's fun! I especially love 30 more tracks of fun rockabilly, and thee best song "Hot Dog" By Buck Owens should get you crazy...and wanting to hear lots more Buck Owens...because hey -he's kinda fun! And he rocks! And don't forget the other unusually wonderful rockabilly singles like : Cause I Love You,Knock Off The Rock, Cotton Pickin' Mama, I Squeeze Her, Rock-A-Rumba,and of course Froggy Went A Rockin' is swell! I need not say more, you get it and that's all a person needs to say, the music is cool jewel. You're gonna have to copy and paste this one into your browser...cause I don't know what I did to my upload manager...whoops.Things happen. http://rapidshare.com/files/153152263/Buffalo_Bop__55090_Tattle_Tale.rar
First off,it's nice that people like these compilations. Once you listen to a couple of these, you can become addicted to them pretty easily. I did, and with so many volumes,I am also never bored with the music, ever. The tracks that stand out on this volume are: Wiggle Walkin' Baby, Crazy,Crazy, My Rock And Roll Daddy,Cool Guitar, It's Witchcraft, and High Classed Baby! As always, these come along with artwork, and most of these coversare from actual pulp fiction styled paperbacks, which are also highly collectible, for their hand drawn artwork. You can actually google that, and find a mountain of artwork! Plus they'rekind of funny, in a dated sort of way. Again just to keep you tuned into these, these tracks are from the original 45's-the singles plucked right out of the 1950's, and many of them were never reissued on any other disc.A true time machine find. So Go,Man,Go!http://rapidshare.com/files/153164048/Buffalo_Bop_-_55078_-_Tough-E-Nuff.rar.html
Wild Wild Wild Rockabilly, 30 more tracks from this series that will go on until I posted them all, or I will at least try to! The theme of this one seems to be wild and crazy with songs like: You Drive Me Crazy, Lover's Lane Blues, Gone Gone Gone, Got The Bull By The Horns, and my favorite being Livin' For Your Lovin'. You can't beat it! Again, all of the songs come from the original 45's from vinyl, so they sound like a old jukebox playing from some kind of time machine. http://rapidshare.com/files/151309247/Buffalo_Bop_55097_Out_For_Kicks.rar.html
Whoo Hoo more rockabilly! Another 30 tracks-o-fun from the original artists in the 1950's, This one has no other theme other than rockabilly guys just screaming away....Great songs include: Old Red Devil, Clickety Clack, Topsy- Turvey, Stood Up Blues, and of course The Joint's Really Jumpin'. These are so much fun. Collect them all. Included are the scans of the front and back so you can keep score. Later gators. http://rapidshare.com/files/151309175/Buffalo_Bop__55098__Rockabilly_Cats.rar.html
This is probably the hardest Buffalo Bop to get,and the most ridiculouscompilation of the series. Why? Guys trying to be Elvis, and no one is even close. Sorry guys! You should have called yourselves "The Not Quites". Because that's more like it. It is entertaining in it's own silly way, so don't get all weirded out on me. Make Me Dance Little Ant has it's charm, a complete rip off of Jailhouse Rock, with the most silly lyrics ever. Not even trying to cash in! The song just goes on and on about having ants in his pants, not really praising Elvis, but making fun of his dancing. That was what most people thought when he started out, and no one tookhim seriously. Because he did overdo it on every television performance, didn't he? And that's how he got noticed, and the kids totally dug him for basically giving the adults the middle finger, with that overtly sexual dancing The funny part is,when he would be interviewed after performing,on early television shows, he sounded like a harmless, polite young man, just hooked on music. He also looked like a juvenile delinquent from outer space, what's not to like? http://rapidshare.com/files/147603346/Buffalo_Bop-55074-_I_Dreamed_I_Was_Elvis.rar.html
Hang Loose follows the tradition of this whole series, more Rockabillysongs particularly by men about women. Although, this is typically tiresome after a while, you will soon see more girl rockabilly comps very very soon. I'm working on it! So, come back soon, and hopefully I will have some done for you! It's always nice to hear songsfrom a different perspective. This one, again features some fun songs, with titles like Flirtie Gertie, Saccharin Sally, Rootie Tootie Baby, You're Gone,I'm Left, and Rocking Jalopy. I can't help but play this in heavy rotation. Stay tuned for more cats and kittens! I've got some pretty cool knock out editions for you! Go,Man Go!http://rapidshare.com/files/146640550/Buffalo_Bop-55009-Hang_Loose.rar.html
Still not enough rockabilly? Okay, here's the last one for today. Party Crasher- contains the hits-Granny Went Rockin', Gee Whiz Liz,Skinnie Minnie Shimmy, Dig Me A Crazy Record, and again, my personal favorite Turkey Neck Stretch. You can't go wrong! I'm all over these compilations, and am listening to them everyday. I'm living in the past, and A-Okay with that! Join me,and the fun! http://rapidshare.com/files/145559061/Buffalo_Bop_55081_Party_Crasher.rar.html
